After a rather tough play, DonPi FC's Leonides Sadurni got a free kick in the 3rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laureano Egun in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximo Cayo saved DonPi FC from getting behind. After 7 played minutes DonPi FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Cresencio. In the 7th minute of the match Hernan Urre shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maximo Cayo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Maximo Cayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Egun in the 9th minute of play. When Roman's Laureano Egun, in the 11th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Roman. Isaac Chepe took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maximo Cayo. Maximo Cayo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Roman's Marco Iigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Viator in the 18th minute of play. Eugenio Viator sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaac Chepe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Cayo having to interfere. The supporters of Roman booed when DonPi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Cresencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Roman's Hernan Urre tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Roman's Bernardo Ipar pulled a muscle in his leg after 34 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 34 minutes, Leonardo Cresencio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DonPi FC and the Roman players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leonardo Cresencio hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Hernan Urre sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and DonPi FC's Maximo Cayo didn't even have to move. Jonas Elequemedo struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Marco Iigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DonPi FC. In the 43rd minute, Eugenio Viator got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonas Elequemedo had several of the Roman's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 44 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Marco Iigo as he didn't even see the shot coming.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eugenio Viator to strike the kick off in the second half. When Jonas Elequemedo came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the DonPi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Elequemedo couldn't finish the play. DonPi FC's Jonas Elequemedo got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Laureano Egun kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Jonas Elequemedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. DonPi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Elequemedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Iigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eugenio Viator fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Iigo having to interfere.
