After 7 played minutes Hormiguero got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Anaya. 16 minutes in the game, Filiberto Dei fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Adrian Aurken having to interfere. Filiberto Dei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Aurken having to interfere. In the 47th minute of the match, Filiberto Dei tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Adrian Aurken saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gogo Anaya to strike the kick off in the second half. Gogo Anaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filiberto Dei took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adrian Aurken. Adrian Aurken dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The audience was convinced that Filiberto Dei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adrian Aurken was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Ceferino Otsoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrian Aurken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiberto Dei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raul Tino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gogo Anaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Eulalio Rufio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Filiberto Dei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
