Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anselmo Quintyn started the match with the kick off. Teodoro Phelipe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Gilberto Oxel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Tolino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Monte Olivia's Alfredo Beltxe got a free kick in the 10th minute. Jorge Oton might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilberto Oxel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorge Oton ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Pocitos FC's zone, Alberto Tolino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Oxel came out of the goal and Alberto Tolino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aldo Lonzo took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilberto Oxel. Gilberto Oxel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 24th minute, Alfredo Beltxe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pocitos FC! Alberto Tolino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jorge Oton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alberto Tolino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Gilberto Oxel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Oton in the 38th minute of play forced Pocitos FC's goalkeeper Gilberto Oxel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Tolino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Oxel having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Alberto Tolino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Alberto Tolino made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Monte Olivia getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Jorge Oton hit a great ball. Alberto Tolino was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 55th minute. Monte Olivia's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Oton in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilberto Oxel saved Pocitos FC from getting behind. Jorge Oton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Gilberto Oxel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aldo Lonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Tolino hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the game, Marciano Dalmai cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Tomás Pierres was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alberto Tolino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Gilberto Oxel made a huge save. In the 76th minute, Jorge Oton fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a rather tough play, Pocitos FC's Bartolo Dalmu got a free kick in the 78th minute. Jorge Oton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aldo Lonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilberto Oxel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Oton in the 89th minute of the match.
