Genaro Hermelando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Gines in the 18th minute of play. CSD Zamba's Genaro Hermelando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Gines in the 31st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Piamonte's zone, Joel Bakar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damaso Javiar came out of the goal and Joel Bakar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the match, CSD Zamba's goal looked a bit too open when Sixto Valente came free, but Genaro Hermelando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alejo Menendo hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. CSD Zamba's Alejo Menendo got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Gines in the 43rd minute of play forced CSD Zamba's goalkeeper Genaro Hermelando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damaso Javiar was a little too slow when Alejo Menendo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sixto Valente was the one to do the kick off. After 57 minutes of play, CSD Zamba's Jonathan Chago made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Damaso Javiar was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guido Eguerdi during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. CSD Zamba's Genaro Hermelando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save CSD Zamba from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Sixto Valente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piamonte's supporters rose to their feet, but Sixto Valente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genaro Hermelando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 80 minutes into the match, Sixto Valente dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Genaro Hermelando, 3-1. Guido Eguerdi hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Severo Gines took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Genaro Hermelando. Genaro Hermelando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. 92 minutes into the game, Severo Gines cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Genaro Hermelando was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Joel Bakar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
