Dario Gar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Genaro Hermelando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Gutxi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 played minutes CSD Zamba got a freekick which was hit by Júnior Magalhães. Carlos Servando took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Genaro Hermelando. CSD Zamba's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Dario Gar came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the CSD Zamba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dario Gar couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Oalo in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gavino Guillen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mariano Oalo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Gavino Guillen made a huge save. Mariano Oalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Gavino Guillen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Genaro Hermelando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Gutxi in the 24th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dario Gar got free with Gavino Guillen in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mariano Oalo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Gavino Guillen made a huge save. After having played for 42 minutes, Joel Bakar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CSD Zamba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Bakar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Delmiro Benet struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Genaro Hermelando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarmiento. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Oalo was the one to do the kick off. When Dario Gar fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CSD Zamba's protests and gave Dario Gar a yellow card for diving instead. Mariano Oalo struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Gavino Guillen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CSD Zamba. Jonathan Chago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The CSD Zamba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Sarmiento's zone, Mariano Oalo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gavino Guillen came out of the goal and Mariano Oalo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chants of Sarmiento echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as CSD Zamba had held the ball for most of the match.
