The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aquiles Benitez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Deseado AFC's Donato Jaume got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jairo Astrada made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Ceferino Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Cayetano Rodriguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Astrada having to interfere. Donato Jaume recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Segundo Eguntsenti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Aquiles Benitez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ceferino Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cayetano Rodriguez was the one to do the kick off.
