Ben Hur's Maximiliano Bieito couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Punto Unido FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flavio Bautista got free with Aquiles Benitez in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vinicio Martxel did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Aquiles Benitez 22 minutes into the match. Vinicio Martxel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Aquiles Benitez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Flavio Bautista could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Aquiles Benitez however easily saved by the left post. Aquiles Benitez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 88 minutes into the game, Jonathan Beremundo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Punto Unido FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ben Hur the free kick. The supporters of Ben Hur booed when Punto Unido FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Beremundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flavio Bautista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Aquiles Benitez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
