But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lázaro Ariando couldn't finish the play. Ermegildo Venceslas might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serafino Su. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ermegildo Venceslas ran back to his position shaking his head. Rodrigo Bakar hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. A hard shot 28 in the game by Ermegildo Venceslas from a close distance when the talented Serafino Su managed to make a qualified save. Ascasubi FC's players were relieved. Valhöll FF's Ermegildo Venceslas got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ermegildo Venceslas did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Serafino Su 34 minutes into the match. Serafino Su didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cornelio Fortun went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Ermegildo Venceslas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Su having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ermegildo Venceslas to make the kick off. Serafino Su showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Venceslas, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. If Lázaro Ariando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Ascasubi FC booed when Valhöll FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Garoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Valhöll FF's Emanuel Orlin got control of the ball when Esteve Ieltxu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roque Gar's late challenge caught a Valhöll FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roque Gar helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Ermegildo Venceslas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valhöll FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Ermegildo Venceslas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafino Su breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Sengrat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Emanuel Orlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel Orlin was a little too slow when Tomas Sengrat got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 3-1. In the 96th minute, Esteve Ieltxu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emanuel Orlin was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Valhöll FF had played much better football throughout.
