Alagón's Benjamin Chuan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Alagón from getting a goal against them. Benjamin Chuan was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Isidoro Heriberto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Isidoro Heriberto really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Sergio Hunfredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquiles Asteri in the 16th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, The Curruncus Band's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Mannuel came free, but Sergio Hunfredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 27 minutes into the game, when Aaron Atarratze put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in The Curruncus Band fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! In the 29th minute there was a penalty for Alagón. Jorge Jaume stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sergio Hunfredo. 1-1. Erasmo Rivero charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erasmo Rivero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd match minute, Alagón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Rivero to maneuver through the defense. Nicolas Mannuel struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Sergio Hunfredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alagón. Benjamin Chuan made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Arsenio Txartiko sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tadeo Nerio made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Txartiko in the 51st minute of play forced Alagón's goalkeeper Benjamin Chuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeo Nerio in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergio Hunfredo saved The Curruncus Band from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tadeo Nerio in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergio Hunfredo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, The Curruncus Band's Sergio Hunfredo got control of the ball when Nicolas Mannuel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alagón's Nicolas Mannuel got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sergio Hunfredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Nerio in the 65th minute of play. Tadeo Nerio hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, The Curruncus Band's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Nerio came free, but Sergio Hunfredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to The Curruncus Band getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Ignacio Aznar hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, Alagón's Jorge Jaume broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The Alagón fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Alagón's Tadeo Nerio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Tadeo Nerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Isidoro Heriberto fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Curruncus Band's protests and gave Isidoro Heriberto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute, Isidoro Heriberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of The Curruncus Band:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Alagón:s goal. The referee gave Alagón a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jorge Jaume, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of The Curruncus Band's Sergio Hunfredo. 1-3. Alagón's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
