Emanuel Orlin was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Tadeo Teyo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tadeo Teyo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If Cornelio Fortun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delmar Tono got free with Emanuel Orlin in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ermegildo Venceslas in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baltasar Cordaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Ermegildo Venceslas put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Baltasar Cordaro. Baltasar Cordaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Fortun, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Ermegildo Venceslas scored 1-2 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baltasar Cordaro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Ermegildo Venceslas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baltasar Cordaro was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Valhöll FF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
