The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tadeo Nerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Cordaro having to interfere. 10 minutes into the game, Tadeo Nerio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Baltasar Cordaro. Tadeo Nerio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Alagón's Benjamin Chuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Teyo in the 13th minute of play. Nicolas Mannuel succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 15th playminute. 19 minutes into the match, Millonarios del Sur's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Nerio came free, but Baltasar Cordaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tadeo Teyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Delmar Tono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

After 57 played minutes Alagón got a freekick which was hit by David Franco. Millonarios del Sur's Ricardo Maties couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 58th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Alagón. Tadeo Teyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Nicolas Mannuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tadeo Nerio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baltasar Cordaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Nerio in the 68th minute of the match. Baltasar Cordaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Nerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicolas Mannuel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Baltasar Cordaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Delmar Tono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Alagón's goalkeeper Benjamin Chuan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
