The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Remigio Raymundo during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Marapá AFC's Remigio Raymundo got a free kick in the 8th minute. Jesus Haimar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Israel Franco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inocencio Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Inocencio Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesus Haimar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Israel Franco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Marapá AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Haimar came free, but Israel Franco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Júlio de Senna was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Remigio Raymundo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. Inocencio Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Israel Franco having to interfere. After some careless play in the Marapá AFC defense, Jesus Haimar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Israel Franco. The Marapá AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Israel Franco should have stopped the shot. Júlio de Senna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samuel Louis in the 40th minute. Inocencio Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guillermo Admon made a kick off. Israel Franco made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Jesus Haimar sent off a good shot on target. After 56 minutes of play, Marapá AFC's Rafael Arias made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Júlio de Senna was left in no man's land by his defense there! Júlio de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Arias in the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Marapá AFC's goalkeeper Israel Franco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jose Cristofor. Benjamin Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Enrique Furman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Júlio de Senna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Bruno Mendez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gonzalo Acosta was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 69th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Inocencio Lopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Marapá AFC's Israel Franco got control of the ball when Jose Cristofor tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Marapá AFC's zone, Jesus Haimar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Israel Franco came out of the goal and Jesus Haimar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Israel Franco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Lopez in the 85th minute of play. In the 90th minute Rafael Arias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inocencio Lopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Israel Franco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Inocencio Lopez's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Marapá AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
