In the 12th minute Nereo Suero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Mateus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pablo Milian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 15 played minutes Deportivo Maverick got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Suero. Gavino Kemen kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Everardo Sagrario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albano Servando, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. A collision led to Deportivo Maverick getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Arnaldo Porfiro hit a great ball. Berracos FC's Joel Buinton got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 38 played minutes Berracos FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Gaskon. In the 40th minute of the match Sergio Benvido sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pascual Mateus skillfully saved the ball. Joel Buinton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Everardo Sagrario read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Albano Servando might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Everardo Sagrario. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albano Servando ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 46 minutes, Joel Buinton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berracos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Buinton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pablo Milian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Deportivo Maverick getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Gualterio Barrionuevo hit a great ball. Arnaldo Porfiro's late challenge caught a Berracos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnaldo Porfiro helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Deportivo Maverick getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Arnaldo Porfiro hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Maverick's zone, Joel Buinton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Everardo Sagrario came out of the goal and Joel Buinton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pablo Milian struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Pascual Mateus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Maverick. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Berracos FC's goalkeeper Pascual Mateus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Servando in the 68th minute of play forced Deportivo Maverick's goalkeeper Everardo Sagrario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Berracos FC's Pascual Mateus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Milian in the 84th minute of play. Nereo Suero's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pascual Mateus firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Berracos FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Mariano Orain hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergio Benvido got free with Pascual Mateus in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nereo Suero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Deportivo Maverick players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
