With his leg Hermengildo Mendebal managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Nefaigav's Prospero Caetano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hermengildo Mendebal made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Prospero Caetano sent off a good shot on target. Hermengildo Mendebal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Jesco in the 39th minute of the match. Nefaigav's Prospero Caetano got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hermengildo Mendebal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florentino Jesco's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Florentino Jesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
