Fabricio Carlomagno struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Tomás Leheren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Florencia. Aldo Gonzales was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 20 minutes into the match. Fabricio Carlomagno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diego Nayely struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Ezequiel Hurko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.19 de diciembre. In the 45th match minute, Florencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Maore to maneuver through the defense. After 48 minutes Florencia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Federico Errando who took care of the corner kick.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diego Nayely to strike the kick off in the second half. Severino Papo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Leheren having to interfere. Fabricio Carlomagno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Esteban Monico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomás Leheren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Papo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Severino Papo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomás Leheren having to make a save. Ezequiel Hurko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Nayely in the 64th minute of the match. Diego Nayely sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severino Papo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 82 minutes into the game, Diego Nayely cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ezequiel Hurko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Teo Ipar hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Fabricio Carlomagno could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Tomás Leheren however easily saved by the left post. In the 97th minute, Moises Quinton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Diego Nayely had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florencia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
