In the 5th minute, Fabricio Carlomagno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Florencia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 12th minute, Feliciano Lorenz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute, Alberto Paez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ezequiel Hurko was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The audience was convinced that Alberto Paez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ezequiel Hurko was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. With a little luck, Tejedor FC's Prospero Pudes got control of the ball when Fabricio Carlomagno tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Esteban Larra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24 played minutes Tejedor FC got a freekick which was hit by Feliciano Lorenz. The audience was convinced that Severino Papo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Prospero Pudes was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Constantino Romildo hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Constantino Romildo kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. A collision led to Tejedor FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Alberto Paez hit a great ball. Prospero Pudes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Papo in the 38th minute of play. Florencia's Ezequiel Hurko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Paez in the 44th minute of play. Severino Papo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Esteban Larra was the one to do the kick off. Fabricio Carlomagno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Prospero Pudes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Papo in the 54th minute of the match. If Fabricio Carlomagno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, one of Tejedor FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tejedor FC. Benicio Efren walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Florencia's Severino Papo got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabricio Carlomagno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteban Larra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Hurko having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Esteban Larra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Hurko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Carlomagno in the 79th minute of play forced Tejedor FC's goalkeeper Prospero Pudes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Florencia's Fabricio Carlomagno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Prospero Pudes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 82nd minute Severino Papo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Pudes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prospero Pudes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Papo in the 86th minute of play. Prospero Pudes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Maore, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 93 minutes into the match, Tejedor FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabricio Carlomagno came free, but Prospero Pudes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd match minute, Tejedor FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Miliano to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Florencia booed when Tejedor FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Miliano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Benicio Efren sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tejedor FC's Prospero Pudes didn't even have to move. In the 98th minute, Severino Papo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
