After taking down the ball on Matthew F.C.'s corner Rafael Quintana fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Filiberto Primo quite easily take care of the ball. When Matthew F.C.'s Marco Goito in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Bartolo Raebert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaias Ilixo having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bartolo Raebert was the one to do the kick off. Matthew F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Beremundo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filiberto Primo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eleuterio Fanuco struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Filiberto Primo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matthew F.C.. With a little luck, Madrejón FC's Filiberto Primo got control of the ball when Jorge Beremundo tried to sneak it across the goal line.
