Eugenio Gamus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Hurko having to interfere. Guido Txilar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tadeo Ledesma in the 10th minute. Guido Txilar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Porfiro in the 11th minute of play. A collision led to Cogollum getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Jonatan Porfiro hit a great ball. When Anastasio Maxin came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Atletico Rio Cuarto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anastasio Maxin couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Atletico Rio Cuarto booed when Cogollum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atilano Dominguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Guido Txilar managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Cogollum's Tadeo Ledesma fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 23 minutes into the match, Atletico Rio Cuarto's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Blasi came free, but Guido Txilar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Eugenio Gamus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eugenio Gamus struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Sixto Hurko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Rio Cuarto. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Anastasio Maxin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Rio Cuarto's supporters rose to their feet, but Anastasio Maxin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sixto Hurko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anastasio Maxin in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sixto Hurko saved Cogollum from getting behind. With a little luck, Atletico Rio Cuarto's Guido Txilar got control of the ball when Tadeo Ledesma tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guido Txilar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Porfiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After 46 played minutes Rodolfo Blasi rounded Atletico Rio Cuarto's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Eugenio Gamus made the kick off in the second half. In the 76th minute there was a penalty for Atletico Rio Cuarto. Eugenio Gamus stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sixto Hurko. 1-2. If Eugenio Gamus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugenio Gamus got free with Sixto Hurko in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amadeo Efraim charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amadeo Efraim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Cogollum's Amadeo Efraim got a free kick in the 86th minute. Anastasio Maxin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Sixto Hurko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eugenio Gamus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sixto Hurko having to make a save. Sixto Hurko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anastasio Maxin went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Cogollum's Sixto Hurko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Gamus in the 97th minute of play.
