Luis Ciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Elixio having to interfere. In the 17th minute Cesar Izel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Sansone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Feliz in the 18th minute of play forced Bañitos AFC's goalkeeper Emiliano Sansone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luis Ciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute Benito Franco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Elixio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Cesar Izel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Harp Blues FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesar Izel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emiliano Sansone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emiliano Sansone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Feliz, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Serafin Garcia sped through Bañitos AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Emiliano Sansone.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alberto Feliz to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Alberto Feliz took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Emiliano Sansone to make any attempt to save it. In the last second Emiliano Sansone throw himself and got hold of the ball when Alberto Feliz in the 70thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Benito Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bañitos AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benito Franco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramiro Elixio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alberto Feliz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Emiliano Sansone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With 82 minutes on the clock, Ciriaco Guipuzkoa commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. When the match had been going on for 85 minutes, Harp Blues FC's Virgilio Tabb got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Emiliano Sansone. Luis Ciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Ciano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramiro Elixio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. After having played for 94 minutes, Alberto Feliz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Harp Blues FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Feliz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Harp Blues FC's Ramiro Elixio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Ciano in the 97th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Harp Blues FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
