Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Farillón FC booed when Atletico Rio Cuarto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Procopio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guido Txilar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Peru in the 22nd minute of the match. When Hilario Lorencio fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico Rio Cuarto's protests and gave Hilario Lorencio a yellow card for diving instead. When %teams%'s Eugenio Gamus was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 2-0 just inside the left pole, 36 minutes into the game. Cipriano Correia was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Cipriano Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Gamus, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Orlando Peru to strike the kick off in the second half. Bernabe Claude sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Farillón FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilario Lorencio in the 95th minute of play forced Farillón FC's goalkeeper Cipriano Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cipriano Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Jobo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 98 minutes into the match, Farillón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anastasio Maxin came free, but Cipriano Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
