The tension between the Dock Sud and the Club Atletico River Plate players grew even worse after the yellow card. Romeo Suarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Claus, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Club Atletico River Plate's Romeo Suarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Claus in the 44th minute of play. Benigno Cebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Gervasio Alfonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Domingo Claus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Domingos Argi struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Romeo Suarez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dock Sud. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidio Beltza in the 67th minute of play forced Dock Sud's goalkeeper Gervasio Alfonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serafin Ponce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by Domingo Claus got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ovidio Beltza took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gervasio Alfonso. Gervasio Alfonso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. A collision led to Club Atletico River Plate getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Ovidio Beltza hit a great ball. Romeo Suarez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domingo Claus in the 95th minute. Club Atletico River Plate's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
