Spectators: 7073 (Terracing: 5413, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ariel Txatxu kicked off to start the match. When Santos Silvanito fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Independiente F.C's protests and gave Santos Silvanito a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th match minute, Independiente F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Silvanito to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute of the match Esteve Seme shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaspar Giraldo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gaspar Giraldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Laffitte in the 6th minute of play. After some careless play in the Independiente F.C defense, Delmar Laffitte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaspar Giraldo. The Independiente F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaspar Giraldo should have stopped the shot. Lucio Salvator showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Txatxu in the 15th minute of the match. Nicolas Atauri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Giraldo having to interfere. Ariel Txatxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Independiente F.C's Gaspar Giraldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Laffitte in the 25th minute of play. When Ariel Txatxu came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Independiente F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ariel Txatxu couldn't finish the play. In the 31st minute, Delmar Laffitte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julian Salvadore blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaspar Giraldo having to make a save. After the first half No me importa were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Delmar Laffitte to strike the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 52 in the game by Nicolas Atauri from a close distance when the talented Gaspar Giraldo managed to make a qualified save. Independiente F.C's players were relieved. Gaspar Giraldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Laffitte in the 53rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Delmar Laffitte in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaspar Giraldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Laffitte in the 67th minute of play forced Independiente F.C's goalkeeper Gaspar Giraldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Moises Felo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atilano Veremundo kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Lucio Salvator didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victor Dino went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Delmar Laffitte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Santos Silvanito kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Independiente F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Delmar Laffitte scored to the left of an out of position Gaspar Giraldo, making the score, 1-2. Julian Salvadore's late challenge caught a Independiente F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julian Salvadore helped the player get up and apologised. Lucio Salvator showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Txatxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. If Delmar Laffitte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Independiente F.C's goalkeeper Gaspar Giraldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. No me importa walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
