A wasted opportunity for Racing Club. 12 minutes into the game, Daniel Palben was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alastair's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing Club the free kick. In the 13th match minute, Alastair was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Palben to maneuver through the defense. Joel Monte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Casado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Racing Club's Norberto Casado in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Alastair! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Norberto Casado in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Monte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Geronimo Niva struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Joel Monte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing Club. Norberto Casado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Monte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Joel Monte came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Racing Club's Zacarias Paublo. But to his dismay, Zacarias Paublo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The Alastair players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Racing Club were winning 0-4.

The wind increased when Norberto Casado made the kick off in the second half. Norberto Casado struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Joel Monte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing Club. Fermin Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Monte having to interfere. In the last second Joel Monte throw himself and got hold of the ball when Norberto Casado in the 54thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Joel Monte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermin Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 57 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Niva. After having played for 62 minutes, Norberto Casado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Casado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anastasio Ranolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Monte having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Racing Club's Norberto Casado ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joel Monte. Joel Monte yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. The audience was convinced that Norberto Casado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joel Monte was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Joel Monte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. After having played for 76 minutes, Norberto Casado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Casado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Fermin Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Fermin Ramos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Monte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Casado in the 79th minute of play forced Alastair's goalkeeper Joel Monte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Fermin Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Racing Club's Norberto Casado got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Fermin Ramos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th match minute, Alastair was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrosio Solustiano to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute Norberto Casado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Monte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Alastair fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Racing Club were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
