But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urbano Gabino couldn't finish the play. 25 minutes into the match, Urbano Gabino notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Samsung's Silvestre Bonadona. Silvestre Bonadona was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alastair's Joel Monte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Ioritz in the 42nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Alastair's David Markel got a free kick in the 45th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Inocencio Neron got free with Joel Monte in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rogelio Sazon to strike the kick off in the second half. Aristides Fidencio hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Rogelio Sazon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Joel Monte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Sazon in the 76th minute of the match. Pedro Afonso kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Alastair's Aristides Fidencio got a free kick in the 78th minute. The referee ignored Samsung's protests and gave Cleto Victoro a yellow card for diving instead. Silvestre Bonadona was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from David Markel. Cipriano Cefero kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Astor Ioritz was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 91st minute, Astor Ioritz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Urbano Gabino might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvestre Bonadona. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Urbano Gabino ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Afonso's late challenge caught a Samsung's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Afonso helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Samsung booed when Alastair was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Afonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adolfo Ledesma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Joel Monte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Samsung fans cheered their team off the field, for while Alastair had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
