Spectators: 7270 (Terracing: 5454, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bartolo Ruisko started the match with the kick off. Benigno Tonete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Pedroso in the 4th minute of play. Fernan Estefan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Rodrigo Fanuco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of River Plate booed when Dinamo Ragnarson was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Fonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Dinamo Ragnarson's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Ruisko came free, but Benigno Tonete reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17thth minute of the game Pedro Pedroso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dinamo Ragnarson's Benigno Tonete was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind River Plate's goalkeeper Rodrigo Fanuco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bartolo Ruisko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Benigno Tonete tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niceto Martino charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niceto Martino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Roque Iyan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind River Plate's goalkeeper Rodrigo Fanuco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. River Plate's Rodrigo Fanuco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernan Estefan in the 41st minute of play. Pedro Pedroso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Tonete having to interfere. Benigno Tonete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Pedroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Pedroso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernan Estefan made a kick off. When Danilo Jakes fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored River Plate's protests and gave Danilo Jakes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd minute, Danilo Jakes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agustin Galoer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Fanuco having to interfere. Dinamo Ragnarson's Benigno Tonete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Ruisko in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Fernan Estefan came free, but Rodrigo Fanuco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bartolo Ruisko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benigno Tonete made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Pedroso in the 84th minute. Rodrigo Fanuco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Iyan, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dinamo Ragnarson fans cheered their team off the field, for while River Plate had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
