Cabe Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Justo Domenec was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Orlanda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Justo Domenec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Jorge Orlanda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute Justo Domenec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Orlanda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 18 minutes into the game, when Eduardo Enetz put in a rough tackle. Alfonso Tanio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Vargas in the 20th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Vargas got free with Alfonso Tanio in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 36 minutes into the match, La Tenaglia's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Ceandro came free, but Jorge Orlanda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Justo Domenec got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Cabe Team booed when La Tenaglia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiburcio Inko didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th match minute, Cabe Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Gutxi to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Alfonso Tanio managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when La Tenaglia's Gabriel Eguen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

52 minutes into the game, La Tenaglia's Rafael Vargas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfonso Tanio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Rafael Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Alfonso Tanio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfonso Tanio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Eguen in the 93rd minute of the match. Justo Domenec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The La Tenaglia players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
