But to his dismay, Ignacio Precioso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Lucas Theobald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cory Honeycutt having to interfere. In the 27th minute Justo Domenec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cory Honeycutt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30thth minute of the game Lucas Theobald who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tellier FC's Cory Honeycutt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Fermin Abaurre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfonso Tanio. Cabe Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fermin Abaurre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Victoriano Gutxi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cory Honeycutt having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Emanuel Jatsu came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Cabe Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Jatsu couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Tellier FC defense, Justo Domenec kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cory Honeycutt. The Tellier FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cory Honeycutt should have stopped the shot. Lucas Theobald might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cory Honeycutt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucas Theobald ran back to his position shaking his head. Nicolas Garin hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tellier FC's goalkeeper Cory Honeycutt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alfonso Tanio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fermin Abaurre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
