Domingo Velasco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esteve Urtungo in the 15th minute. Esteve Urtungo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Domingo Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Domingo Velasco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pateadores's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor Urtun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingo Velasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Serafin Soter came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Los Guerreritos de Mitre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafin Soter couldn't finish the play. Pateadores walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
