When Arsenio Diegotxe was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 31 minutes had been played. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvestre Gora made a kick off. If Domingo Rios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 54 minutes, Nemesio Huly mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zanjón and the La 90 de Fátima players grew even worse after the yellow card. The long shot by Cesar Erroman in the 55th minute really tested Ernesto Batista's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 58th minute Domingo Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Nicasio Teodor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
