Ezequiel Delfino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robustiano Bonifaco in the 38th minute of the match. Horacio Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Robustiano Bonifaco came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Zanjón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robustiano Bonifaco couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robustiano Bonifaco to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, La deseada's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Eneto came free, but Ezequiel Delfino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robustiano Bonifaco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. After having played for 79 minutes, Arsenio Diegotxe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zanjón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arsenio Diegotxe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Fabian Tibalt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robustiano Bonifaco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. In the 97th match minute, Zanjón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebio Pio to maneuver through the defense. Zanjón's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
