After a defensive mix-up in El Tajamar FC's zone, Florentino Jeraldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andres Katia came out of the goal and Florentino Jeraldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Tajamar FC's goalkeeper Andres Katia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of AlfredoTVHD booed when El Tajamar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Rocendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florentino Jeraldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felipe Cristofor's late challenge caught a El Tajamar FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felipe Cristofor helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th minute, Felipe Cristofor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonatan Rocendo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Albano Justin. AlfredoTVHD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to AlfredoTVHD getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Benedicto Cefero hit a great ball. Albano Justin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Lucado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind AlfredoTVHD's goalkeeper Albano Justin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half El Tajamar FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lorenzo Arnas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Florentino Jeraldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Katia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andres Katia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Jeraldo in the 66th minute of the match. Julian Lucado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albano Justin having to interfere. Andres Katia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Cefero, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. If Julian Lucado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Enzo Belasko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Despite being the better team, El Tajamar FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
