Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Saltamontes F.C.'s Baldomiro Godoy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aquiles Lope narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Saltamontes F.C.'s Leo Rio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candido Enekoitz in the 27th minute of play. Armando Umbruso hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in LtBiss's zone, Federico Roderigo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquiles Lope came out of the goal and Federico Roderigo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. LtBiss's Israel Magdaleno suffered a concussion in the 34th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Rafael Pello charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafael Pello the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of LtBiss booed when Saltamontes F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Pello didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Federico Roderigo came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Saltamontes F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Federico Roderigo couldn't finish the play. If Baldomiro Godoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquiles Lope took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomiro Godoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Baldomiro Godoy made a precise shot to the right of Aquiles Lope. LtBiss's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The LtBiss players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Saltamontes F.C. were winning 0-2.

After 52 played minutes Saltamontes F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Tebaldo. Baldomiro Godoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aquiles Lope took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomiro Godoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Federico Roderigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76thth minute of the game Baldomiro Godoy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LtBiss's Aquiles Lope was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, LtBiss's Aquiles Lope got control of the ball when Federico Roderigo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Saltamontes F.C.'s Federico Roderigo got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, LtBiss's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Godoy came free, but Aquiles Lope reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Froilan Furman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Rio having to interfere. The LtBiss fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Saltamontes F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
