If Silverio Cuarto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Pappo's zone, Reynaldo Chuse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Furman came out of the goal and Reynaldo Chuse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tito Noir hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the game, Flavio Venceslas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Amador Ishmael. Flavio Venceslas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Amador Ishmael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmacio Quinto in the 18th minute of the match. Amador Ishmael was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Flavio Venceslas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silverio Cuarto couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute, Dalmacio Quinto fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Amador Ishmael, passed just outside the right post. AGB Escuela de Futbol's Amador Ishmael proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save AGB Escuela de Futbol from getting a goal against them. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silverio Cuarto to make the kick off. The Deportivo Pappo players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
