When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Moises Luzaide sped through Deportivo Pappo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joaquin Furman. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Leopoldo Guilabertus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasio Mede in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Boca Junior's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Otsoko came free, but Leopoldo Guilabertus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopoldo Guilabertus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flavio Venceslas went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. In the 81st minute Fausto Otsoko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Guilabertus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Boca Junior's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Venceslas came free, but Leopoldo Guilabertus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dalmacio Quinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Guilabertus having to interfere. After 95 minutes of play, Deportivo Pappo's Dalmacio Quinto made it 3-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leopoldo Guilabertus was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Club Atletico Boca Junior players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
