But to his dismay, Albino Caetano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Moises Luzaide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albino Caetano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mauro Iztal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Luzaide, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Moises Luzaide managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Boca Junior's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Luzaide was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Iztal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 45 minutes, Leonides Dodorol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.C. Vigal and the Club Atletico Boca Junior players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Moises Luzaide sped through A.C. Vigal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mauro Iztal. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Baldomero Austin made the kick off in the second half. Moises Luzaide took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauro Iztal. Mauro Iztal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Moises Luzaide did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-6 to the left of a surprised Mauro Iztal 58 minutes into the match. Club Atletico Boca Junior's Leopoldo Guilabertus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Austin in the 61st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Moises Luzaide's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mauro Iztal was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Club Atletico Boca Junior's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
