Nicanor Ceandro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Santikurtz having to interfere. Canquel's Simon Galoer came free and shot a quick shot against goal 7 minutes in the game, fortunately Octavio Santikurtz had problems saving as it came toward the left post. When Haroldo Cayo fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Pibes's protests and gave Haroldo Cayo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th match minute, Los Pibes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Cayo to maneuver through the defense. Nicanor Ceandro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Santikurtz having to interfere. A hard shot by Arturo Francesco from long distance, 24 minutes into the match, got Octavio Santikurtz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Simon Galoer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Santikurtz having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Angelo Montrel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Canquel's Baldomiro Rencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Americo Bernaldo in the 40th minute of play. Octavio Santikurtz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Ceandro in the 43rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Americo Bernaldo in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomiro Rencio saved Canquel from getting behind. When Flavio Musko fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canquel's protests and gave Flavio Musko a yellow card for diving instead. Flavio Musko kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The corner led Los Pibes's Saverio Manni to fire away a dangerous shot which Baldomiro Rencio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicanor Ceandro to strike the kick off in the second half. Simon Galoer took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Octavio Santikurtz. Octavio Santikurtz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Simon Galoer spun around in front of the goal 58 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Los Pibes's goal. Octavio Santikurtz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicanor Ceandro went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Americo Bernaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Los Pibes's Octavio Santikurtz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Galoer in the 72nd minute of play. Americo Bernaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Americo Bernaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Pibes's supporters rose to their feet, but Americo Bernaldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomiro Rencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Simon Galoer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 93 minutes, Nicanor Ceandro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canquel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicanor Ceandro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute, Pablo Bihar had to leave the field with a concussion. Melquiades Mambru charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melquiades Mambru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Los Pibes getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Melquiades Mambru hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the Canquel players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
