Spectators: 7201 (Terracing: 5402, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Fulgencio Umbruso made the kick off which started today's match. After 3 played minutes, Los Pibes's Amador Iliana shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Gabirel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Pibes reached it. Angelo Montrel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Gabirel having to interfere. Gaston Cristofor charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaston Cristofor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Umbruso in the 13th minute of play forced Los Pibes's goalkeeper Octavio Santikurtz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Montrel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute, Domingo Iztal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domingo Buinton charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Domingo Buinton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Domingo Buinton hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Angelo Montrel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Americo Bernaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fulgencio Umbruso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Octavio Santikurtz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Armonía FC's goalkeeper Julio Gabirel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelo Montrel. Octavio Santikurtz came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Armonía FC's Mario Lixandro. But to his dismay, Mario Lixandro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fulgencio Umbruso in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octavio Santikurtz saved Los Pibes from getting behind. Los Pibes's Octavio Santikurtz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Umbruso in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Americo Bernaldo was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Angelo Montrel put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Gabirel. Fulgencio Umbruso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Santikurtz having to interfere. Octavio Santikurtz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Iztal in the 66th minute of play. After 69 played minutes Fulgencio Umbruso rounded Los Pibes's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Domingo Iztal's late challenge caught a Los Pibes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domingo Iztal helped the player get up and apologised. After 72 played minutes Armonía FC got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Iztal. After having played for 76 minutes, Domingo Buinton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Armonía FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingo Buinton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angelo Montrel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Gabirel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Montrel, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Armonía FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Armonía FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
