Arturo Montxo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Arturo Barto made a huge save. Ignacio Cordara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patricio Nastasio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Weterio in the 7th minute of play. Patricio Nastasio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Haroldo Weterio went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 12th minute, Haroldo Weterio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arturo Barto made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Isaias Rameriz sent off a good shot on target. Patricio Nastasio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Weterio in the 19th minute of the match. If Haroldo Weterio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 24 minutes, Blas Pereyra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monte FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blas Pereyra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Haroldo Weterio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Patricio Nastasio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Haroldo Weterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 37th minute Ignacio Cordara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Barto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute Emiliano Seber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Nastasio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Emiliano Seber cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Patricio Nastasio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Emiliano Seber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monte FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emiliano Seber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patricio Nastasio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isaias Rameriz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Médanos AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Monte FC were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Haroldo Weterio was the one to do the kick off. Haroldo Weterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Nastasio having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Inocencio Emmanuel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haroldo Weterio struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Patricio Nastasio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monte FC. If Emiliano Seber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haroldo Weterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Isaias Rameriz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patricio Nastasio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Weterio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Médanos AFC's Patricio Nastasio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Weterio in the 83rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Médanos AFC's zone, Gualterio Fliz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patricio Nastasio came out of the goal and Gualterio Fliz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Monte FC's Arturo Barto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Afonso in the 94th minute of play. Emiliano Seber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Monte FC played a much better game than Médanos AFC and deserved their victory. The Médanos AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
