Spectators: 7222 (Terracing: 5418, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) Monte FC's Haroldo Weterio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Placido Estavan kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. When Haroldo Weterio fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monte FC's protests and gave Haroldo Weterio a yellow card for diving instead. Haroldo Weterio hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. When Gualterio Fliz came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Monte FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gualterio Fliz couldn't finish the play. 8 minutes into the match, Monte FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Moise came free, but Arturo Barto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carmelo Moise received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Arturo Barto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Margarita booed when Monte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Felipo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Monte FC's Emiliano Seber got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Nicolas Urritz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 24 minutes into the game, Filiberto Felipo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monte FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Margarita the free kick. In the 25th match minute, Monte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiberto Felipo to maneuver through the defense. Nicolas Urritz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Haroldo Weterio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Rodolfo Salbatore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Haroldo Weterio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 37 minutes, Emiliano Seber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monte FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiliano Seber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emiliano Seber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Salbatore having to interfere. Monte FC's Emiliano Seber got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Haroldo Weterio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Placido Estavan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Barto having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carmelo Moise made a kick off. With a little luck, Monte FC's Arturo Barto got control of the ball when Nicolas Urritz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rodolfo Salbatore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Weterio, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 63rd minute, Raimundo Serafo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Margarita booed when Monte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Weterio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carmelo Moise was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute. Margarita's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 72nd minute, Nicolas Urritz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arturo Barto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 83 played minutes Margarita got a freekick which was hit by Victorio Jerrald. 92 minutes into the match, Monte FC's Filiberto Felipo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodolfo Salbatore narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Monte FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Margarita to win.
