The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Celestino Piarres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Patricio Nastasio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isaias Rameriz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Silverio Tibalt made a huge save. Ignacio Cordara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Tibalt having to interfere. If Ignacio Cordara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isaias Rameriz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Silverio Tibalt made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Charadai's Julian Papo got a free kick in the 18th minute. When Ignacio Cordara came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Médanos AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignacio Cordara couldn't finish the play. In the 20th match minute, Charadai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anibal Polo to maneuver through the defense. Silverio Tibalt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaias Rameriz in the 23rd minute. Isaias Rameriz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Iker Sansone fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Charadai's protests and gave Iker Sansone a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Charadai getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Iker Sansone hit a great ball. Celestino Piarres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silverio Tibalt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Cordara, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Iker Sansone hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Celestino Piarres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Nastasio having to interfere. Patricio Nastasio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Virila in the 40th minute of the match. The supporters of Charadai booed when Médanos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Afonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anibal Polo, 46 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ignacio Cordara to make the kick off. After 63 played minutes, Médanos AFC's Domingo Sotil shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Silverio Tibalt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Médanos AFC reached it. 65 minutes into the match, Charadai's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Cordara came free, but Silverio Tibalt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silverio Tibalt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Cordara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Médanos AFC's Patricio Nastasio got control of the ball when Celestino Piarres tried to sneak it across the goal line. Patricio Nastasio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Virila in the 73rd minute of the match. Ignacio Cordara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silverio Tibalt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Rameriz in the 86th minute of the match. Ivan Virila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 93 minutes, Ignacio Cordara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Médanos AFC and the Charadai players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ignacio Cordara kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Médanos AFC had won after a very even match.
