Spectators: 6651 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1651, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carmelo Moise started the match with the kick off. Rodolfo Salbatore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Rameriz in the 12th minute of the match. If Isaias Rameriz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Ignacio Cordara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodolfo Salbatore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Rameriz in the 22nd minute of the match. Rodolfo Salbatore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Montxo in the 24th minute of play. Isaias Rameriz scored 1-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodolfo Salbatore, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th minute Isaias Rameriz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Salbatore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Margarita's Placido Estavan got a free kick in the 29th minute. If Ignacio Cordara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Médanos AFC booed when Margarita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Estavan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 38 played minutes Margarita got a freekick which was hit by Placido Estavan. Isaias Rameriz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Rodolfo Salbatore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodolfo Salbatore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Cordara, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Médanos AFC's Isaias Rameriz got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Placido Estavan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Nastasio having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Arturo Montxo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Nicolas Urritz came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Margarita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Urritz couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After 59 minutes of play, Margarita's Nicolas Urritz made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patricio Nastasio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nicolas Urritz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodolfo Salbatore made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Isaias Rameriz sent off a good shot on target. Rodolfo Salbatore was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Prospero Gartzen. In the 74th minute Ignacio Cordara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Salbatore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Nicolas Urritz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Margarita's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Urritz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patricio Nastasio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ignacio Cordara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Margarita's Raimundo Serafo got a free kick in the 84th minute. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Margarita's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Domingo Sotil was slow to take the kick. During this time Médanos AFC's players had a chance to rest. Nicolas Urritz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Nastasio having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Médanos AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Margarita.
