Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Haroldo Weterio started the match with the kick off. Remigio Onofre hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute, Emiliano Seber made a precise shot to the right of Adrian Montrel. Bermúdez FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Adan Vito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 13 minutes into the game, Bermúdez FC's Natalio Farias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arturo Barto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After some careless play in the Bermúdez FC defense, Emiliano Seber kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adrian Montrel. The Bermúdez FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adrian Montrel should have stopped the shot. When Gualterio Fliz fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monte FC's protests and gave Gualterio Fliz a yellow card for diving instead. Gualterio Fliz hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Monte FC's Arturo Barto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Monte FC from getting a goal against them. Basilio Bastiaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Arturo Barto made a huge save. Arturo Barto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Farias in the 24th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Monte FC's Filiberto Felipo got a free kick in the 24th minute. Monte FC were furious when Norberto Damião was red carded, 27 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adan Vito during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st minute, Adan Vito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natalio Farias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Arturo Barto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Bermúdez FC's Faustino Barros ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arturo Barto. Arturo Barto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. When Adan Vito was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 43 minutes had been played. After 45 played minutes Bermúdez FC got a freekick which was hit by Adan Vito. In the 46th minute, Filiberto Felipo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Natalio Farias to strike the kick off in the second half. Bermúdez FC's Faustino Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Faustino Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Natalio Farias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arturo Barto was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Haroldo Weterio charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Haroldo Weterio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 63 played minutes Monte FC got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Weterio. Bermúdez FC's Faustino Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Monte FC's zone, Remigio Onofre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arturo Barto came out of the goal and Remigio Onofre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arturo Barto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Barros in the 72nd minute of play. After 73 minutes of play Bermúdez FC's Remigio Onofre was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Arturo Barto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Faustino Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Arturo Barto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Natalio Farias came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Bermúdez FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natalio Farias couldn't finish the play. If Andres Fliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Faustino Barros made a precise shot to the right of Arturo Barto. Monte FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Faustino Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bermúdez FC fully deserved thier win.
