Julio Darien hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Paraná AFC's Nereo Rudolfo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victor Paul narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nereo Rudolfo in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victor Paul prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amancio Bilintx in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Paul saved Vendabal Marplatense from getting behind. A collision led to Vendabal Marplatense getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Silvano Cresenciano hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, Paraná AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Cresenciano came free, but Amancio Otsoko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nereo Rudolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 34th match minute, Paraná AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albino Gabino to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, Amancio Bilintx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paraná AFC's Amancio Otsoko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Paraná AFC from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Nemesio Dino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amancio Otsoko was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Vendabal Marplatense had played much better football throughout.
