When Tobias Lucero came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Atlético Cun-Do fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobias Lucero couldn't finish the play. After having played for 29 minutes, Emil Bruhn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Medanitos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emil Bruhn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rolando Cristofol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Lluis, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Tobias Lucero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabricio Chale having to interfere. Rolando Cristofol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Bruhn in the 35th minute of the match. In the 38thth minute of the game Emil Bruhn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Cun-Do's Rolando Cristofol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 39th minute Rodrigo Lluis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Cristofol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emil Bruhn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Emil Bruhn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Cristofol was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. 44 minutes into the match, Atlético Cun-Do's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Lluis came free, but Rolando Cristofol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rodrigo Lluis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teodosio Cordarrol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Emil Bruhn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Medanitos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emil Bruhn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Cristofol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodrigo Lluis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Cristofol having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Juan Perfecto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Medanitos FC's Fabricio Chale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Lucero in the 71st minute of play. Fabricio Chale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Cordarrol, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Medanitos FC's goalkeeper Fabricio Chale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 80 minutes, Rodrigo Lluis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Medanitos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Lluis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Atlético Cun-Do's Juan Perfecto got a free kick in the 81st minute. Emil Bruhn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. The Atlético Cun-Do fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Cristofol should have stopped the shot. Medanitos FC's Emil Bruhn got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rolando Cristofol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Lluis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Medanitos FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
