Spectators: 7197 (Terracing: 5399, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) Salto's Fernando Valente started the match with a crisp pass. The Medanitos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a rather tough play, Salto's Roberto Mannie got a free kick in the 8th minute. The long shot by Augusto Argi in the 13th minute really tested Diego Dimas's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 16th play minute Rodrigo Lluis came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Diego Dimas. 2-0. Mauro Francesco hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Andres Lizer, 22 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Fabricio Chale didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roberto Mannie went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Diego Dimas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Lluis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emil Bruhn scored 3-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diego Dimas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Roberto Mannie charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roberto Mannie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Medanitos FC booed when Salto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Mannie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigo Lluis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Dimas having to interfere. Emil Bruhn received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Diego Dimas came out and tried to block the shot, but Emil Bruhn slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 42nd minute. In the 47th match minute, Medanitos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Calisto to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the match, Medanitos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Lizer came free, but Fabricio Chale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

In the 70th minute, Emil Bruhn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diego Dimas was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. The supporters of Medanitos FC booed when Salto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Dalmai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Calisto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Dimas having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Damian Paskal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Medanitos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian Paskal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Valente kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Emil Bruhn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Medanitos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emil Bruhn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego Dimas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Medanitos FC had played much better football throughout.
