Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvano Cresenciano to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nemesio Dino got free with Victoriano Quin in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lisandro Rocendo's late challenge caught a Luro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Etxahun in the 90th minute of play forced Vendabal Marplatense's goalkeeper Victor Paul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victoriano Quin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Cresenciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvano Cresenciano in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victoriano Quin saved Luro FC from getting behind. Vendabal Marplatense's Tiburcio Mancio got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
