But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvano Cresenciano couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, San Tuca's Ermegildo Abad got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 24th minute, Lino Beat left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Tuca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When Ermegildo Abad fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Tuca's protests and gave Ermegildo Abad a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to San Tuca getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Ermegildo Abad hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Silvano Cresenciano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nemesio Dino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Mon having to interfere. In the 31st minute Silvano Cresenciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Mon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvano Cresenciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Mon having to interfere. San Tuca's supporters rose to their feet, but Lino Beat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Paul breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Vendabal Marplatense defense, German Rioja kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victor Paul. The Vendabal Marplatense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Paul should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Vendabal Marplatense booed when San Tuca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Beat didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Vendabal Marplatense's Godfredo Tono broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Bruno Mon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nemesio Dino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Vendabal Marplatense supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching San Tuca's performance. The match ended with a win for San Tuca.
