Spectators: 7147 (Terracing: 5447, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 30) Chimuelo FC's Eustacio Gergori started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eustacio Gergori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Asteri having to interfere. In the 8th minute Roque Sanduru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorio Herauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Silvano Millano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chimuelo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Primera Junta the free kick. In the 12th match minute, Chimuelo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Millano to maneuver through the defense. Filomeno Loiola kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. When Chimuelo FC's Oscar Goiano in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Primera Junta's goalie prevented a goal. With his leg Benigno Asteri managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Chimuelo FC's Eustacio Gergori fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eustacio Gergori struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Benigno Asteri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chimuelo FC. The crowd rose to their feet as Chimuelo FC's Oscar Goiano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benigno Asteri. That made the score 2-0 after 27 minutes of play. After having played for 31 minutes, Oscar Goiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chimuelo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Goiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eustacio Gergori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Asteri having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of Primera Junta:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chimuelo FC:s goal. Benigno Asteri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Goiano in the 38th minute of play. Silvano Millano hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roque Sanduru to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Primera Junta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eustacio Gergori was slow to take the kick. During this time Chimuelo FC's players had a chance to rest. Benigno Asteri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Goiano in the 61st minute of play. Benigno Asteri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eustacio Gergori's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Primera Junta's goalkeeper Benigno Asteri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Oscar Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Asteri having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eustacio Gergori in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benigno Asteri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oscar Goiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute Eustacio Gergori shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Asteri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Asteri having to interfere. Chimuelo FC's Oscar Goiano got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Primera Junta's zone, Eustacio Gergori stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benigno Asteri came out of the goal and Eustacio Gergori tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Oscar Goiano came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Chimuelo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Goiano couldn't finish the play. Primera Junta's Benigno Asteri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustacio Gergori in the 97th minute of play.
