Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Laureano Chus started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the game, one of Quilmes Atlético Club:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 4th minute there was a penalty for Panambí. Nestor Guillelme stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gregorio Artal. 1-0. Vinicio Evarado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Eduino, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laureano Chus in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregorio Artal saved Quilmes Atlético Club from getting behind. The Panambí fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Panambí's Laureano Chus looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 31 minutes, Ambrosio Bero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quilmes Atlético Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ambrosio Bero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Laureano Chus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panambí's supporters rose to their feet, but Laureano Chus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregorio Artal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Gonzalo Mergildo fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quilmes Atlético Club's protests and gave Gonzalo Mergildo a yellow card for diving instead. Gonzalo Mergildo hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Fausto Francho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute Laureano Chus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Artal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Bero in the 44th minute of play forced Panambí's goalkeeper Vinicio Evarado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ambrosio Bero to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Joanes got free with Vinicio Evarado in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gregorio Artal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Chus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Quilmes Atlético Club's zone, Fausto Francho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregorio Artal came out of the goal and Fausto Francho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Quilmes Atlético Club's goalkeeper Gregorio Artal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Quilmes Atlético Club's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Chus came free, but Gregorio Artal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gregorio Artal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laureano Chus in the 70th minute of the match. Fausto Francho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 73 played minutes Quilmes Atlético Club got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Chico.
