Godfredo Urbes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laureano Chus's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, Panambí's Laureano Chus ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Godfredo Urbes. Godfredo Urbes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. LOS BOMBOS's Godfredo Urbes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Chus in the 27th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julian Mergildo during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Panambí's Julian Mergildo got a free kick in the 33rd minute. The audience held their breath when Rodrigo Quin in the 34th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Vinicio Evarado's left hand side. Laureano Chus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Urbes having to interfere. The supporters of LOS BOMBOS booed when Panambí was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobaldo Bonifaco didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Laureano Chus made a kick off. Narciso Guter charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Narciso Guter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to LOS BOMBOS getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Narciso Guter hit a great ball. Godfredo Urbes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Chus, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Harri in the 64th minute of play forced Panambí's goalkeeper Vinicio Evarado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeledon Bakar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vinicio Evarado. Panambí's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Panambí getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Evaristo Lop hit a great ball. Laureano Chus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Urbes having to interfere. Fausto Francho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Godfredo Urbes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Laureano Chus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Godfredo Urbes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Panambí's Evaristo Lop got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 81 minutes into the game, Laureano Chus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Godfredo Urbes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rodrigo Quin's late challenge caught a Panambí's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodrigo Quin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th match minute, LOS BOMBOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Quin to maneuver through the defense. If Fausto Francho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in LOS BOMBOS's zone, Laureano Chus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Godfredo Urbes came out of the goal and Laureano Chus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. LOS BOMBOS's Godfredo Urbes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Francho in the 95th minute of play. Panambí's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
